Mystery Gifts can help you in a few ways. The first and best way to make them work for you is to put items on your Wishlist that you need. Some of the time when you open a Mystery Gift it will give you an item, and some times two of an item that is on your Wishlist.
These new Special Delivery Crates aren’t quite all they are cracked up to be. They are supposed to give you building materials and items needed for goals. They do, but the problem is that they give you all sorts of items that you most likely no longer need. Since I began opening them I have gotten more than 25 Seahorses for the aquarium that I finished long ago. The only item I have gotten from that is for something I am currently working on is the Witch Hat. Of course I already have enough of the Witch Hats, so it too is just a waste.
The most important thing to remember about Mystery Gifts… The more you send the more you will get back in return. I was sending out SOME Mystery Gifts maybe a couple times a week to a short list of people. Recently though I have been getting a pop-up that asks me to send Mystery Gifts. This pop-up includes a list of all of my Facebook friends that played CityVille in the past day or two. All I have to do is click on a send now button. It sends about 24 gifts at a time and then reloads to the next page of friends. It is simple and only takes a minute or two. Since I started sending them whenever I get this pop-up I have been getting more than 80 Mystery Gifts (some times over 100) in return each and every day. Obviously, the more gifts you get the higher the chances are that you get some stuff you need.
Apparently you are allowed to send gifts to people about every 4 hours or so. For me I have about 135 friends that play CityVille, so sending them a few times a day and I can get a bunch in return. Granted not everyone has that many neighbors playing the game. Even still, the more you send, the more you will get back.
Come back tomorrow for another tip to help you along the way in CityVille.
