The Halloween Candies are only around for 10 more days. Don’t waste them on the Trick or Treaters or the Lake Eerie decoration. Save them for the Pranked House and Halloween Party House.

The Pranked House will cost you 75 Candies, but it gives you 1,100 in population once it is built. It also has a max population of 2,180, so there is lots of room to grow. The Halloween PArty House might cost 125 Candies, but it will start you off with 2,100 population, and has a max of 4,100. That’s a lot of people in a 4X4 square that only takes 8 energy to build.

I know some people love decorations, and Lake Eerie is a decent one, especially while the Halloween housing is Halloween housing. It will give you a 25% bonus on houses and businesses, as well as a 25% bonus on Halloween items. This means that it will give you a 50% bonus on the Halloween items. (At least for now, that could change once the stuff magically becomes regular population items.)

If you have a lot of friends and can collect a lot of candies though I definitely suggest going for the two big houses as many times as you can. Think of the space you will save and the major bump in population they will give with such a densely populated 3X3 or 4X4 square.

Of course keep in mind you HAVE to have 5 items placed by the time the Halloween goals go away. My current personal strategy is as follows:

I gave in and grabbed a Lake Eerie at the start to finish the first of the new goals (Candy Icon). Then I held out and got the Pranked House. Now I am currently saving up for the Halloween Party House. Once I get it I will wait as long as I can and try to get more of the Party House. If time runs short though I can go grab the Pranked House or even some of the Trick or Treaters if I must to have 5 items placed.
